X-rays reveal defects in the oral cavity, restorations, supernumerary teeth, the size, shape, and position of teeth.
Why are x-rays important in the dental office due to forensics?
Also, a word of advice. I would not let yoru dentist take a lot of those panoramic dental x-rays they are an very high dose of radiation. Also your thyroid and your eyes are two very sensitive organs to radiation and they are being very highly exposed during these films.
