What are the kinds of sterilizers used in the dental office?
Autoclaves? Most office use steam sterilization, but you can use chemical. There are a few different types of steam sterilization, all under pressure. The normal type that takes about 30-45 min each cycle and then the Statim type which can be as quick as 3 minutes.
Reply:They have chemical sterilizers as well as they autoclave the reusable instruments
Reply:There are two different types of sterilizers, chemiclave and autoclave. Chemiclave uses chemicals and the autoclave is steam. As far as surface sterilizers we use a variety of things. Cidex Plus is a major one.
