I do not want to go to a fake dentist. How do I check if a dentist is not a ripoff?

Hi! I've been in dentistry for over 25 years and have only heard of a few operating "illegally" and they were non-Americans working in their basements/kitchens on mostly illegal aliens. So I doubt you will be able to find one. However, you can call the Dental Board of your State and give them his/her name and address and they will confirm this for you. As far as prices, shop around. That's the only way. Very simple to do.
