How do you treat a herpes one patient in a dental office? what are the precautions the assistant should take?
The dental office should be sterile, so even if the patient has herpes, it shouldnt spread because of the gloves, mask, and glasses worn by the dentist. Herpes is spread through blood and or contact with an outbreak. Be sure not to have skin to skin contact with the skin of the patient.
