My husband recently lost his job for several reasons. He was looking for a job and 3 weeks since he lost his job, he started to have teeth pain. He may have to pull some of his teeth but since he doesn't have a job right now, he got no dental and we don't have large savings to pay for it.
Dentists we talked to told us it will cost roughly $300 just to pull 1 tooth and roughly $200 for exam for the first time for who doesn't have dental. If he had to pull more than 1 teeth...which he thinks 4 teeth, it will cost us easily $1500! We can't even afford to pull 1 tooth and how are we going to pull all of it? He can't work like this and I don't think they will accept the loan payment since he doesn't even have a job right now.
Is there any dental offices for poor and who doesn't have dental in Canada, British Columbia? Around Vancouver would be the best place for us.
Dental in Canada?
I would have to say no, but if you are on welfare then they may cover some dental extractions. It may be hard to find a dentist who will do it though because welfare plans don't pay well and the patients (no offence if this is you) tend to be less than reliable at showing up on time or at all so many dentist don't take them. If you aren't on welfare then try going to a dental school and getting it done by a dental student, they will take good care of you and even though it will take longer than at a dental office it will be much much cheaper
Reply:Try a dental school or try to find a dentist that will do it and then take monthly payments.
Reply:Mind if I ask if you are working? Even though your husband does not have a job, some companies have family dental plans which can assist in the dental fee your husband has to pay.
Reply:There are some clinics for low income... and some offices offer a payment plan.
I'm not sure where to go for that... sorry.
Reply:I am Sorry I am not Sure about this one
