Is it safe to give the information of credit card on the dental bill.?

Just received the bill from my dentist. The bill requiresthe personal information of my credit card ( including the SECURITY CODE). Is it safe to do that or is it better to go by the dental office to pay in person ?

Is it safe to give the information of credit card on the dental bill.?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!

What if the payment gets 'lost in the mail', and someone else gets your info?

If you're going to pay by credit card, do it in person... you can never be too careful.........

:)
Reply:It's as safe as any other information you send by mail. If you mail your payment from a secure location, it should be very safe.

If you doubt the security of the US postal service, don't send anything else EVER by mail.
