I don't know exactly what you might be looking for... However, this is a blurb from a paper I wrote this semester about what my dental office could do to improve...
"From an external marketing standpoint, we should continue to be listed in the local phonebook and get a website. The importance of a website in today’s marketplace is tantamount. Not only could we attract new patients, but it would be a place that our current patients could go to find educational information and post-operative instructions. Using the internet to email patients appointment confirmations, current advertising or seasonal specials or using it as a means of communication would be of great benefit. Giving notepads or pens advertising the practice or personalized toothbrushes are an easy way to remind the patient of our services. A mass media campaign that focuses on health and prevention of dental disease could be communicated via radio or the newspaper. A press release that shows our office being in practice for 60 years in the same location could be of interest.
Hope that helps!

External marketing for dental office?
You should also try marketing on the Internet. Most patients look for their local dentist in search engines. It's very simple to setup a website and very cost effective as well. I used http://www.theonlinepractice.c... to develop my website. Report It
Reply:what kind of external Marketing are you looking for??
Reply:As opposed to internal marketting, which gives MUCH greater ROI...?
